The idea of having an open heart is to let love and feelings flow in and out of our hearts without judgment. Whatever you are feeling is OK.

My practice is rooted in the desire to support, empower, and educate clients. I believe my clients are capable and resilient, and that together we can develop skills to create change. I am passionate and vocal about issues of social justice and I use inclusive and multicultural approaches in my work.

The framework that I use pulls from several modalities and theoretical orientations to create a custom therapeutic approach to meet each individual’s needs. I use a lot of cognitive behavioural therapy in my work and focus on skill building. I work with you to build skills and techniques to navigate the challenges that life presents.

I completed my thesis on how to support clients who are in consensual non-monogamous relationships. Relationships are the most important aspect of our lives. As rates of divorce remain high, many people are looking for alternative relationship structures that support them and their lifestyles. I have a deep understanding of the harmful narratives that surround monogamy and non-monogamy and will work with you to develop the type of relationship that will work best for you.

I know what it is like to live with IBS. Anxiety, trauma, and dysregulation all make it difficult for us to live fully, especially when it impacts not only our mental health, but our gut health as well. Our work together will focus on nervous system regulation and helping you feel more grounded. Life comes with many stressors, so let’s work together to build skills to help you manage them.
